We want to see a community where native wildlife is respected, protected and valued as a necessary part of the ecosystem. We encourage public awareness and education of wildlife's important role in the ecological community.

This GIANT pony bead opossum is 20 inches long!

Petri's Place - Fall 2026 Funding Goals

We have a pretty significant expense coming up and some goals left over from summer to tackle.
In addition to our daily and monthly expenses - Petri's Place needs to raise funds for the following:

Pay Off Electrical Panel Upgrade ($1050)

Pay Off Climate Controlling the two big enclosures ($2400)

Convert an area into a MUCH needed laundry and storage room ($1500)

Replace commercial ice machine - CRITICAL in this South Texas heat ($300 Remaining)

*** Pay for Potato (male juenile fox) to have a critical leg surgery to repair his broken hip or amputate for long term pain management. ($2300)

Fall/Winter Goal Remaining (9.28.26): $7550
